Imenotteri was inspired by Vespa. Vespa, the name means wasp in Italian. Imenotteri, the name means hymenoptera in Italian. In 1946, Corradino and Pontedera was first released the prototype of MP6. Upon seeing the MP6 for the first time, Enrico Piaggio exclaimed: “Sembra uno vespa!” and then named it “Vespa”.

Vespa is an Italian brand of scooter manufactured by Piaggio, which is one of the largest airplane companies in the world. Unfortunately, because of the World War II started in 1933. Piaggio emerged from the conflict with its Pontedera fighter plane plat demolished by bombing. After the world war II, the aircraft engineer Corradino lose the job and become a consulter of Ferdinando Innocenti to redesign the scooter which named MP5.

We believe that Corradino is capable of making full wasp. However, the Vespa take off the wing for them products. Imentteri arm to put the wing back to the wasp. And make Vespa become a high performance Vespa.
